As a highly talented facilitator and coach, Tom has a proven track record in helping organizations become more effective and competitive by tapping the full potential of their people. In concert with the executive team, Tom is able to develop at all organizational levels, a clear sense of the need for change and the leadership skills required to effect change. His energy, commitment and enthusiasm, combined with a specialty in the design and application of experiential learning exercises, have earned Tom a reputation for delivering powerful, exciting and lasting learning experiences. Participants in his programs are motivated to create a successful future for both the individual and the organization.

Working as an independent consultant since leaving IBM in 1993, Tom's personal success in organizational development spans a variety of private and public sector organizations including 3M, Bell Canada, Irving Oil Limited, Government of Canada (CCMD Ottawa and HRDC Toronto), and the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. Tom is also associated with the Canadian Management Centre (American Management Association) and Humber College Corporate Education Services. He co-designed Humber's ten-day Certificate in Change Leadership program, and currently facilitates this program for a number of Humber's clients.
Tom gained practical insight into organizational behaviour from two decades of working as a manager, leader, and product developer in the field of computer technology. His extensive experience also includes the position of Manager of Corporate Communications. As a member of IBM Canada's Management and Leadership Development team in the early 90's, Tom played a key role in the cultural transformation of IBM by creating and delivering management development programs focussed on change, leadership, team development, customer service and quality. This unique blend of corporate experience has proven invaluable to the development of strong leadership in his clients' organizations.
Tom earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo and holds a certificate from the Creative Training Techniques Institute, MICA. He has also studied The Disney Approach to Quality Service at Disney University and attended the Engineering and Management Program at the Graduate School of Management, University of California, Los Angeles.
